Jackie Laundon

Advisor | Public Health Practice and Equitable Recovery

Jackie Laundon is a public health consultant with over 10 years of experience working at and with public agencies and nonprofit organizations on public health and health systems strategic planning, program implementation, and evaluation. She has been working with BARHII since 2021 on different projects focused on public health practices and equitable responses and recovery within emergency management.

Jackie’s previous work experience includes the post-Hurricanes Irma and Maria recovery response for the healthcare systems in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and different roles as a public health practitioner within the family planning and behavioral health units at the Colorado Department of Public Health, working with local public health agencies across Colorado.
She is currently pursuing a DrPH from the Community and Behavioral Health program at the University of Colorado School of Public Health, and is an adjunct professor in Emergency and Disaster Management at SUNY Canton. Jackie has a Master of Arts in International Security from the University of Denver, and a B.A. in International Studies and French from Randolph-Macon College.
