Jackie Laundon

Jackie Laundon is a public health consultant with over ten years of experience working at and with public agencies and nonprofit organizations on public health and health systems strategic planning, program implementation, and evaluation. She has been working with BARHII since 2021 on various projects focused on public health practices, equitable responses, and recovery within emergency management.

Jackie’s previous work experience includes the post-Hurricane Irma and Maria recovery response for the healthcare systems in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and numerous roles as a public health practitioner within the family planning and behavioral health units at the Colorado Department of Public Health, working with local public health agencies across Colorado.

Currently, she is pursuing her DrPH in the Community and Behavioral Health program at the University of Colorado School of Public Health. She is an adjunct professor in Emergency and Disaster Management at SUNY Canton. Jackie has a Master of Arts in International Security from the University of Denver and a B.A. in International Studies and French from Randolph-Macon College.
