Proposition 54: Constitutional Amendment Initiative (November 2003) — In November 2003, BARHII helped
mobilize local governments to oppose Proposition 54, a ballot initiative that would have barred collection of data related to race and ethnicity, virtually eliminating the ability to document health inequities.
